Welcome to American Legion Post 312's Web Site. Our Post has been in continuous existence since August, of 1919, although the charter was not signed until April 21, 1921. In the near future, a more detailed history of our Post will appear in the History Link. Our current Post is located in the heart of beautiful St. Charles, Missouri, (pop. 60,321), on Raymond Dr., (between Droste Rd. and Duchesne Dr.), about 2 miles from the Zumbehl Rd. Exit off of I-70.

Saint Charles is located just west of St. Louis, County, across the Missouri River, and serves as the county seat of Saint Charles County. From 1821 to 1826, St. Charles was Missouri's First State Capitol. It is the oldest city on the Missouri River.

Post 312 is in the Ninth District of the Department of Missouri.

Post 312 is very proud of the fact that we are the 4th largest Legion Post in the state of Missouri, and that we have over 900 Legionnaire's, 300 Ladies Auxiliary members, and 108 S.A.L. members.

To rent, or to inquuire about availability, of one of our beautiful banquet halls, call Chris or Bob at (636) 634-0304, or go to

Lest We Forget:

They must NEVER be forgotten. They are Americans who deserve to be accounted for. This site and many others like it, serve to remind us that they are in our thoughts and our prayers.

24 years ago, I adopted a POW/MIA. His name is Captain John Wayne Seuell, and his hometown is Wheeling, MO. (family in Az.) For 11 years, I kept his profile on my bluegrassguy.com Web Site, until I took that site down at the end of 2004. Commander Julie Spradling of this post has graciously given me permission to put Capt. Seuell's information on Legion Post 312's Web Page, in order that we NEVER FORGET him or those other missing or captured heros.

SYNOPSIS:

Captain John Wayne Seuell, United States Air Force, flying out of Udorn Airfield, Thailand, was reported Missing In Action over North Vietnam on June 6, 1972. (More........)
